Q. How does the website design process work?
A. Give us only 10 minutes of your time either over the telephone or by filling out our RFP, and tell us what kind of website you are planning or considering. During our
conversation, we will answer any questions that you may have, as well as give you enough information to help you with your decision.
If you decide to use our services, an one-year standard contract with a detailed description of your package and cost must be signed. Immediately after signing the contract, we will register your new domain name, and setup a COMING SOON page containing your address, contact information, and logo. In the meantime, all text & graphic contents must be gathered before any work can begin on your new website, we'll assist you with this selection. Once all the information is collected, the page layout and visual design begins. The site's main page is designed first. We will create a draft based upon the content provided. Once the draft is ready, we'll place it on the internet where you can view it. Your review and comments are needed in order to create the final draft. Then, the site is thoroughly tested on the actual server, where you'll have another opportunity to review it for any minor changes and corrections. Finally your new site is going live. Thereafter we will submit your site to major search engines, if included on your package.
Q. How long does it take to have the website ready?
A. We have developed an orderly procedure by which we plan, design, and create a website.
The entire process from designing to launching a new website is within 3-4 weeks. First we need to gather all text & graphic (i.e.: brochures/color collaterals/flyers). After we receive all your information, 1-2 weeks between designing the first draft, design approval & final creation. Another week for testing. and one more week for the final touch ups, then we will be ready to go live.
Q. Is there a minimum contract that I must sign up for?
A. Our minimum contract length is one-year period.
Q. Can I pay with credit card or do I have to pay by check?
A. Unfortunately at this moment we only accept check payments drawn in the US dollars.
Q. Can I register any domain name? Is there a minimum or maximum? Is it included in my account?
A. You can register any name as long as the name is available to be registered. All contract includes the registration name and the length of the registration depends on the contract you have selected.
The registration of your domain name is one of the most critical steps since the domain you selected can be available now but it may not be available in a few hours and we do not guarantee any availability. Domain name can be registered in one year increment, minimum of one year and maximum of ten years. Unfortunately, once a domain is registered, we are not able to modify and/or cancel the domain name, it is not a matter of SimpleWare Computer Solutions policy, but rather the way the domain name registration system works. Once a domain goes in, it is final. Be careful with spelling and ensure the name you provide for the registration is the one you want.
Q. To whom the domain name belongs? What happens when the domain name expires?
A. You are the domain owner, we will do the registration under your name. Domain name registrations must be renewed at least 60 days prior to the expiration date; otherwise it may become available to other parties. As long as you are a SimpleWare Computer Solutions client we will notify you prior to the expiration date.
Q. How do I know if my disk space is big enough?
A. Usually we design the webpage around the size of your disk and seamless upgrades are available upon request.
Q. Will I have flash or graphic presentation?
A. Usually we design the webpage with a flash presentation unless you select a package that does not support graphic presentation due to disk space limitation.
Q. Does my account come with any Virtual Tours?
A. No, but it can be added with an extra setup fee. We do offer virtual tours to our clients and the fee depends on your location. For more information click here or send us an E-mail
Q. When will I receive an invoice?
A. An invoice will be issued on the first day of each month.
Q. How can I find out if my account is past due?
A. Just send us an E-mail requesting your statement.
Q. Can anyone access my domain address anytime and anywhere?
A. Yes, your site will be available 24/7 worldwide.
Q. Does my account come with web statistic software?
A. Yes, Traffic analysis software comes installed and it is very easy to access.
Q. What programs can be used to access e-mail?
A. All POP3 email clients can be used: Netscape mail, Outlook, Eudora etc.
Q. Can my email accounts be forwarded?
A. Yes, either to an in-the-network or out-of-the-network account.
Q. Can I access my e-mail account via the internet when traveling or away from the office?
A. Yes, as long as a computer with Internet access is present.
Q. How can I manage my e-mail users (add/remove/update/lost password/auto-reply)?
A. To add, delete, update, request new password or to setup an auto-reply you have to send your request via E-mail and most likely that your request will be answered within 6 hours during business days and within 24 hours during the weekends and holidays.
Q. Do you have a database system?
A. We use MySQL database. Right now we have the Mailing List Database available to our client for an extra fee.
